What is included in the cost of my registration?
Your conference registration includes full and open access to all sessions and events. Conference attendees are responsible for all related expenses such as air travel, ground transportation, lodging.
What are the registration fees?
Current fees for the training are located on the conference page.
Am I eligible for the member rate?
Membership for the Florida Gang Investigators Association is tracked by the members email address on file. If your membership is not current, member options will not be shown to you. If you are registering for someone else, you must use their agency email address for registration.
Can I pay to attend only one day or part of the Conference?
No, we do not offer a one-day rate with the exception of the Gang Specialist Workshops.
Are meals included with my registration?
No, meals at the conference are NOT included in your registration. Meals are the responsibility of each attendee.
Do I have to pre-register for the sessions I want to attend?
How can I obtain an invoice/receipt for a registration or group of registrations?
A confirmation email is sent via email at the time of registration to the attendee. You can also re-print the system generated receipt by going to the attendee profile, clicking on Billing History. Should you need additional assistance please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a receipt, invoice or additional registration questions.
How do I add a conference or specialist course registration current registration?
You must register for the conference and/or specialist course. Specialist Courses are not included in conference registration and incur an additional fee of $100.00 (USD). Once you have registered, using the attendees email address, you will complete the required information/data fields. The next screen will show you your payment options select "Invoice Me". This will redirect you to start the registration process with verifying you email address. Select the option you want. Once you have completed it, select "Pay Online" or invoice me.
Can I substitute/transfer someone else to attend the Conference?
You can substitute someone else by emailing email@example.com with the new registrant's name and contact information.
Conference Registration Cancellation Procedure?
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org by July 20, 2018, to receive a full refund. All cancellations are subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee. Refunds after this date will be determined on a case-by-case basis. No Shows will be billed at the Full Conference Fee.
Where will be meeting sessions be held?
All of the training sessions will be held at the host hotel, exact meeting space will not be shared until attendees register at the event.
What is the attire?
The dress code for the Conference is business casual. Meeting room temperatures will vary, so wear layered clothing to ensure your personal comfort.
Is there a Conference APP?
Yes. Details for downloading the APP will be emailed to all registrants prior to the Conference.
Is there an attendee list?
A list of attendees and vendors will be provided on the Conference APP.
Is there funding available to help with travel/registration costs?
FGIA is unable to assist with travel fees, however, please contact your regional director to see if any scholarships are available. Each region is allow two scholarships.
